Julien Ducourneau Julien Ducourneau [2012 – 2013 Team]
Julien Ducourneau is an associate of the Business and Financial Law Center of New York Law School and is affiliated with the Securities Arbitration Clinic. During law school, Julien gained professional experience by completing an internship in the financial services department of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, LLP. He also holds a Master in Business Administration from the Edhec Business School in France. Julien is interested in pursuing his interests in regulatory compliance and derivatives in the financial services area.
Daria Guzhva (Odaryuk) [2012 – 2013 Team]
Daria Guzhva was born in Pyatigorsk, Russia. She holds an equivalent of an associate degree from The North-Caucasian Academy of Civil Service (Russia). She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and currently is a 2L in NYLS. While attending New York Law School, Daria was a Compliance Officer in Latham & Watkins, LLP. Daria is fluent in Russian, enjoys tennis, ping-pong, world history and literature.
kristina Kristina Markovitch [2012 – 2013 Team]
Kristina Markovitch earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pensacola Christian College in 2006. She is a 2014 JD candidate at New York Law School where she is an associate of the Center of International Law. She studied abroad in London in the summer of 2012. She is a member of the 2013-14 Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. Kristina plans to pursue a career in International Law and Intellectual Property.
Sondah Sondah Ouattara [2012 – 2013 Team]
Sondah Ouattara is originally from Côte d’Ivoire, and moved to the United States in 1993. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication from Baruch College, CUNY, and is graduating from New York Law School in 2013. At New York Law School, Sondah was affiliated with the Center for International Law, the Justice Action Center, and the Civil Rights Clinic. In addition to participating in a year-long European Union Business Law project based learning class, Sondah is interested in U.S. – sub-Saharan African Trade and Business Transactions.
Jacob Jacob Sirotkin [2012 – 2013 Team]
Jacob is a recent graduate of New York Law School where he specialized in international commercial law, US corporate practice and intellectual property. Throughout his law school career, Jacob has held numerous positions including full-time law clerk to McCue Sussmane & Zapfel and a brief internship abroad at Philip Morris International’s Swiss headquarters. Currently he is negotiating terms to become a founding partner of a New York based boutique law firm with plans to open its doors 4Q 2013 – 1Q 2014.
Cynthia Rios [2012 – 2013 Team]
Cynthia Rios earned her Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, with a major in Finance. Cynthia is an associate of the Center for International Law and is a 2014 JD Candidate at New York Law School. Last year, Cynthia participated in the London Study Abroad Program and will be participating in next year’s Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In addition to her interest in International Law, she is also interested Intellectual Property and Litigation.
Caleb Caleb Vesey [2012 – 2013 Team]
Caleb Vesey graduated magna cum laude from New York Law School in May 2013 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Industry from James Madison University located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Caleb served as a Staff Editor of the New York Law School Law Review, and was an associate of the Center for International Law and the Institute for Information Law and Policy. Following law school Caleb plans to pursue a career in intellectual property and international commercial law.
Christopher Bruno [2011 – 2012 Team]
Christopher Bruno earned his Bachelor’s in History and Master’s in Political Science/ Elections & Campaign Management from Fordham University in New York and graduated from New York Law School in 2012.  At NYLS Christopher was an associate of both the Institute for Information Law and Policy (IP) and Center for International Law.  In addition to his participation in the EU-PBL course, Christopher is interested in Trademark, Advertising, Marketing, and Social Media Law.Christopher plans to pursue a career in international law and intellectual property.
Artem Djukic [2011 – 2012 Team]
Artem Djukic was born in Mostar, Bosnia. He lived in a small village outside of Cologne Germany before moving to the United States. Artem is an alumni of Binghamton University, and in May 2012, he  graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York Law School. While attending New York Law School, Artem was a Notes and Comments Editor on the New York Law School Law Review, and was affiliated with the center for International Law. Artem is fluent in German and Serbo-Croatian.
Arevik Khurdayan [2011 – 2012 Team]
Originally from Russia, Arevik worked in Barcelona (Spain), Stavropol (Russia) and New York and Miami (US). Prior to starting law school, she was part of the Corporate Department at Latham & Watkins LLP where she assisted on several major international transactions. Currently, Arevik works for a technology company assisting the General Counsel with international licensing agreements, advising on IP issues and joint venture deals. Her area of interest lies in Mergers and Acquisitions and Antitrust/Competition policy and regulations. While traveling is her biggest passion, Arevik also enjoys tennis, skiing and Japenese literature. Arevik speaks Russian, French and Spanish.
Christina De Rosa [2011 – 2012 Team]
Christina De Rosa earned her Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University with a major in Classical Languages and a minor in Classical Civilizations.Christina graduated in the top of her class from New York Law School in 2012, where she served as a member of the Law Review, an associate of the Center for International Law, and co-president of the International Law Society.Christina plans to pursue a career practicing cross-border transactional law.
Ian Thomas [2011 – 2012 Team]
Ian Thomas was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Ian holds a BA in History from Loyola University New Orleans. After spending a several years working as a paralegal, Ian decided to pursue a career in law. In May 2012, Ian graduated Magna Cum Laudefrom New York Law School. While attending New York Law School Ian served as the Chair of the New York Law School Moot Court Association and was a member of the New York Law School Securities Arbitration Clinic. In August 2012, Ian will begin a one year term as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Martha Royster, J.S.C in New Jersey. Ian hopes to eventually pursue a career as a litigator with a focus on international trade.
