David Lightstone is currently an Articles Editor for the New York Law School Law Review and an affiliate of Center of International Law. At New York Law School, he has studied European Union law in depth and wrote his note for the Law Review on European Union merger regulation. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. He will be an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in the fall of 2014.

Jan Gabriel Hisugan decided to go to law school in order to serve others and to benefit his community. He has developed community service, interpersonal communication and leadership expertise through my various positions as a Judicial Intern with the Department of Consumer Affairs, a Law Office Intern at the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, and President of the Domestic Violence Project at New York Law School. His interest in the intersection between government and business drew him to the European Union competition Law Class. He has learned a great deal about the inner workings of the European Union as a governing body and the importance of a fair and balanced approach to government regulation of business.

GA Golriz Amid was born in Tehran, Iran, but grew up in New York City. She earned her BA in Middle Eastern Studies/International Affairs from the George Washington University in 2006.  She is currently a 2014 JD Candidate in New York Law School. Prior to law school, Golriz worked as a litigation paralegal at Morrison Foerster, LLP. At NYLS, Golriz is an associate of the International Law Center.  Golriz is interested in antitrust litigation and international trade.
MM PICTURE Malvina Mardirosyan is an associate of the Center for Business and Financial Law at New York Law School and is a Co-Chair of the FINRA Arbitration Project. During law school, Malvina provided legal support to the Office of the Corporate Secretary and Global Finance at the MasterCard Incorporated headquarters in Purchase, New York. During her first summer in law school, Malvina interned at the chambers of Hon. Loren Baily-Schiffman at the Kings County Supreme Court. Prior to law school, Malvina was part of the Investment Management Group at Ropes & Gray LLP at their New York office. Malvina is fluent in Bulgarian and speaks intermediate Armenian. She enjoys travelling and skiing.
IM Ian Moriarty is a current JD candidate at New York Law School, graduating in May 2014. He received his bachelor’s degree from Temple University in 2008.  During his time in school, Ian worked as a summer intern in the chambers of Presiding Justice Luis Gonzalez of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department. He has focused his upper-level studies on corporate and financial services law.
Jihad Picture Jihad Hakamy is an Associate of the Center for Business and Financial Law at New York Law School. He is fluent in Arabic and English. He earned his undergraduate in Engineering Science and worked for Multinational Corporation before obtaining his Master Degree in Business Administration and attending New York Law School. He focused his JD courses on business and international law. His interest in European Antitrust subject is based on his desire to work as a counsel in a global corporation.

Zunin is a current Juris Doctor candidate at New York Law School, graduating in 2014.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Monmouth University in 2010.  During his time at New York Law School, John worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.  John has focused his studies primarily in international law, with a concentration in corporate and financial matters, as well as state and federal litigation.
